What We Do
Collector of Used Cooking Oil (since 2007)
For over 15 years, we have been offering dependable waste cooking oil & brown grease collection services to restaurants and commercial kitchens in the greater Montreal area. This collected waste is processed in our warehouse to meet the specifications of feedstock for biofuel production. With the Global biofuel consumption being on the rise, Byonerga amalgamated in 2022 with its affiliate, Benarix Inc, a global commodity trader in renewable energy. Today, Byonerga collects and sources waste cooking oil and sends it to refineries and other processors in North America and Europe who convert it into renewable energy, such as biodiesel, renewable diesel, renewable jet fuel and biolubricants.

In our continued efforts to better serve our partners, Byonerga created a one-stop-shop for everything cooking oil related. Today, Byonerga supplies quality Canola Oil exclusively to its member partners at preferred prices.

Byonerga is certified with the International Sustainability & Carbon Certification (ISCC) program.
ISCC is an international certification that can be used to prove sustainability and greenhouse gas savings. Being part of that sustainable supply chain is crucial to fight the most severe impacts of the climate crisis.
